Bendigo Schools Trade Training Centre (BSTTC) is a Federal Government funding initiative to provide world class training facilities for students from the Consortium of schools in the Bendigo region.

Funding was provided for new facilities at three Core Sites and for state of the art equipment to be installed at both Core Sites and Upgrade Sites.

ken-mccullochThe benefits of the Bendigo Schools Trade Training Centre and the VET courses and programs being run include skilling our students to at least an ‘entry level’ standard for real work situations with current industry standard equipment.

Students are gaining valuable experience with equipment that they will one day be using in their workplace, while still completing VCE or VCAL studies.

The Trade Training Centre encourages and assists local industry and businesses to support students by offering work place experiences and workplace tours; and offering real-life training through guidance, mentoring and interaction with work life reality.

Our students can showcase their talent and passion to local employers and business can engage and assess possible future employees.

The Trade Training Centre model allows combined classes made up of students from different schools making a range of courses possible that would not be viable if each individual school was required to run their own.
